GutIQ Stool Test (Adults)

A detailed stool test that looks at your gut bacteria, how well you digest food, and signs of inflammation in the gut.

What it measures

217 markers, covering the bacteria and other organisms in your gut, digestion, and inflammation.

How it works

A kit is posted to you. You collect a small stool sample at home and post it back to the lab.

Your results

Your results come back to the clinic, usually 21 to 25 days after the lab receives your sample. You receive a copy of your report. Delivery is free, and the price includes the kit and the lab fee. A consultation to go through your results and turn them into a plan is separate: book a Health & Wellness Consultation (30 minutes, £60).

Who it is for

Women with ongoing bloating, wind or a changed bowel habit, once the warning signs below have been ruled out.

Please get these checked first. Blood in your poo, a change in bowel habit lasting 3 weeks or more, or weight loss you can't explain: ask your GP for a FIT test and an urgent suspected cancer referral by name. Bloating most days for 3 weeks or more, especially if you are over 50: ask for a CA125 blood test.

A test result is one part of the picture. It does not diagnose a condition on its own. If you have symptoms that worry you, please get them checked.
