Perimenopause & Menopause
How we can help
Perimenopause and menopause, looked at properly
Hot flushes, broken sleep, periods that have changed, a mood you don't recognise, or HRT that isn't doing what you hoped. Tell me all of it. I'll look at all of it, and we'll make a plan together.
What I help with
- Perimenopause symptoms, including the ones women are rarely told are hormonal: joint aches, anxiety, brain fog, itchy skin, palpitations
- Menopause, and whether HRT is right for you
- HRT review, when what you are taking isn't working or doesn't suit you
- Periods that have become heavier, closer together or more painful
- PMS and PCOS/PMOS
- Contraception in your 40s
- Low libido and low energy
How it works
Talk
A consultation, in Milton Keynes or by video. Your history, your family history and what you want to change.
Test
Blood tests when a result will change the plan, timed to your cycle where that matters.
Treat
A written plan: lifestyle, supplements where they help, and treatment where it's the right answer.
Review
Your next appointment is booked before you leave, so the plan keeps up with you.
Ways to start
£95 · 30 minutes, longer if you need it
Women's Health Consultation
Your history, your symptoms and what you've already tried, looked at together. You leave knowing what is most likely going on and what to do next.
£497
Women's Health Audit
Blood tests first, then 90 minutes on your results and a written plan within 48 hours.
Care Plan · £1,200, or 3 monthly payments of £400
Restored Programme
A full hormones and health blood test with a nurse visit or clinic draw, a written plan, 90 days of reviews where the plan is adjusted as your body responds, and repeat bloods at the end. Your next appointment is in the diary before day 90 ends.
Start small, nothing is wasted
Your £95 comes off the Women's Health Audit or the Restored Programme if you book within 30 days. Your £497 comes off the Restored Programme the same way.
Some things need checking quickly. Bleeding after your periods have stopped for 12 months, or a new lump in your breast, needs an urgent suspected cancer referral through your GP: ask for it by name. The NHS aims to diagnose or rule out cancer within 28 days. Bleeding after sex needs your cervix examined soon: ask your GP or a sexual health clinic. If you are already my patient, I write to your GP the same day.
